Apples and oranges, I guess. The LA form of cluelessness is very "Arrested Development" or "Action" (that was a good show). SF's cluelessness is more "Monty Python." Everytime I've been there I've loved it. The people are wonderful, the town is nice and even the vineyards are kind of fun in a drunk-before-2 sort of way. And there's always one absurdist who actually believes in the craziness some people profess to believe in out there. He'll say really wild nonsensical stuff, which goes great with champagne. I appreciate it... It's like hearing myself at my worst "argue an impossible position" low, but nasally and so, so affected.
