Makes our discussion pretty academic... I can say this: As much as I stand by my position in a detached, logical sense, I can't say I feel bad about this development. It may not be legally "just," but generally, "cosmically" so to say, sending her back feels really right.
I think it was the photo in the police car that did it for me. The lack of dignity perhaps.
