If we are doing some sort of "what would my life be like now" analysis in determining whether I should have married the ex-, well, it is hard to say because I never would have moved to Dallas (heck, I might not have gone to law school - that gets me back to infinite life choices, so who the hell knows??) and therefore I would not have met Mr. Man. Who is nut a mistake. In my opinion.

However, I look at it more from a "was it a good idea at the time" or "was I in it for the right reasons" analysis, and clearly the answer to both of those questions is NO. It was NUTS.

I learned a lot about myself through that relationship and I am happy for that knowledge, but that doesn't make it less of a mistake either.
