We been over this before . . .
1) There's hardly been enough traffic to warrant multiple threads
2) Multiple threads disrupts the conversation
3) Multiple threads mean people may miss things if they click on "read most recent post" or "last read post" since that function takes you only to the thread of the post.
That said, people are welcome to post new threads. I've let them linger a few days and then merged them into the main thread. I think that accomplishes the best of both, because it gives people a chance to have their own thread, but also avoids having that information disappear into the ether after a few weeks.
Anyway, I'm certainly open to suggestions, but I'd like to keep going this way unless there's a groundswell of complaints (which I'm sure there now will be).
