Thank you, this is my point. It is the cuisine of the Timurid Mughals, not any specific region. The cuisine is the cuisine of Tamer the Great, Babur and Akbar, roving conquerers who were not limited to any one region.
There are little local cuisines throughout the subcontinent, but Mughali cuisine is the cuisine of the great all-conquering Mughals. It takes the best of the local cuisines and the best of Persian and Turkic cooking and combines them.
