I think I saw some that came with an instructional DVD but I've learned all I know from my trainer, who's been taking workshops on using them.

The other is these things called foot wakers. They were developed by this yoga teacher named Yamuna and the theory is that the balance of your foot muscles affect the rest of your legs and body. I pronate and I've found they really take care of any muscle aches that develop in my foot, from running or wearing backless sandals and so forth.

Hmmm. They use them as a sort of alternative to bocu ball at my gym. Usually I find myself doing squats while balancing on them. They also use them with some of the exercises on the TRX apparatus (which I really like quite a bit).

I was kinda sorta thinking about getting a bocu for home, since coordination is not and never has been my strong suit. I figure balancing could help that out a bit. But this might be cool too, since my feet tend towards injury.
