I've used the foam roller in a pilatesish class before, and it is pretty awesome. I remember roller crunches being particularly hard. And core stabilizer/planks.

Interesting, I haven't seen them used that way. It makes sense though because it does require balancing to use them standing up. I tend to use mine at night while watching bad TV.
