When I was small and helped my mother with the dishes, I would put on a wedding between the soup spoon (bride - obviously) and the fork (groom - obviously), officiated by a (dull) knife. The bride wore a dishtowel as a veil. A teaspoon was a flower girl and cake fork was the ring bearer.
It was all hearts and flowers until the bride ran off with that rake, the dish.
