The percentage of teenaged girls that I find annoying apporaches 100%, and with the boys, it's about 50% -- sullen teenagers are really tiresome. However, all the really nice, polite teenagers I know happen to be boys.
Then again, I don't think I'll find my own teenagers (when they are teenagers) annoying, but if they are the annoying, sullen "too cool for everyone" types, I live in the prep school capital of the world, and off they go. But I really don't think I could stand to send them away to boarding school. If I do, it will be to a boarding school within 10 miles of my house.
