Is Lisa Guerrero really what those 40% want to see?

I asked my wife this as we watched the second half of the Bucs/Eagles game on Monday. When they went to the sideline and showed LG in that blue gown with the scarf (?) over one shoulder, looking like a refugee from the freaking opera, we winced. When she opened her mouth, we shuddered. And when they finally cut away, and I asked my wife about it after a moment of mutually silent, stunned disbelief, she said:
"If [LG] were selling glossy lipstick, fine. But she's a joke as a sideline reporter. Why can't they get someone who won't embarass women everywhere every time she opens her mouth?"
Good question.
