What is sounds like is that you horribly overspent when you were younger and were forced to move to the sticks to have cheaper rent in an attempt to dig yourself out of debt, but have no ability to cease talking about the material things that resulted in you getting in debt. Just because you're spending your currently earned money to pay for your past unnecessary expenses, doesn't give you the moral high ground.*
*Note please that if you're paying debt from buying a new kidney for one of your kids or something, please strike all of this and instead insert sympathy.**
**Note that if the reason for the new kidney was that you wanted him to have a Tory Burch kidney instead of because the old kidney didn't work, please strike the prior sentence.

In my phase when I bought some designer things I paid CASH. Not credit.
Any of my new bills are as a result of restructuring my student loans and the unexpected expense of an old car breaking down and necessitating the purchase of another one. Happy? No shoes with a gold emblem.
