I have a feeling that the fact that you spent all your cash on designer goods so that you eventually had to restructure your student loans and had no cushion to deal with the "unexpected" expense of an old car breaking down is not going to convince him that you have sound financial judgment. But your kidney is FABULOUS and nobody can take that away from you. Unless you get caught in one of those awful scams where they drug your drink and you wake up in a hotel bathtub full of ice with a cell phone and note telling you to call a doctor because the bastards have harvested your kidney. Just awful. It actually happened to an acquaintance of a friend of someone who forwarded an e-mail to someone else who sent me an e-mail once.
