 |  My heart rate monitor tells me that I can generally burn the most calories in an hour in my running class (usually about 800), followed by my spinning class (usually about 700), then followed by my swimming workouts (usually about 550). BUT, my max heartrate any given week is always during some sprinting drill while swimming.  I sort of freaked myself out a few weeks ago when it got above 200.
