I disagree. When I criticize (aside from my genuine hatred of PJ), everyone on this board fully knows that my opinions couldn't be more subjective. In fact, because the very nature of my criticisms and rules are so over the top, it's obvious that it's not to be taken seriously. Do you really think I get into a rage when someone types out "LOL" or that when I make a rule that there is chance 1 that it will be followed? Sure I find it annoying. But hobbit, please. I don't take myself seriously most of the time when I'm issuing edicts. I think it's clear that no one else does either.
You, on the other hand, can't help but look at people and point out their flaws as you have defined them. But you honestly think you're talking objectively. You act like you're above it all and yet, never pass up an opportunity to let someone know that they fall on the wrong side of the fence as you see it. When we argue about tv, I'm not really arguing with you about tv. I watch maybe 5 shows a week (not including the Daily Show, which I try to watch as often as I can). I'm calling you out on your arrogance because you genuinely think that other people's lives are empty because they enjoy fluff tv and don't get out on the kayak like you. You see the difference? If you said, damn your lives are empty if all you do is watch tv, that's one thing. Most people would laugh that off because I'm sure everyone on this board has many interests besides tv. Instead, you say, "You're lives are empty because you're not more like me." Ridiculous.
That is the attitude and arrogance I call you out on. It's the same when you say, "Everyone thinks your wrong, TM, so stop acting like you're not," when it's really just
you. You and EO were talking about completely different things. But you actually think your opinion represents everyone's on this board. That's arrogance. It is clear that I think my opinion is solely my own.
