I live in a blue state. 70% of the people here voted for a ban on gay marriage. the city of detroit voted 90% for john-John and 70% in support of the ban on gay mariage. Imagine the numbers in Idaho if its like that here.
the guy is a politician. his voters put him in Congress to represent them. voting against a ban on Gay marriage probably wouldn't represent his voter's position really well.
