I am a bigger fan of the pony keg concept. It goes by different names but I am talking about the gallon size beer can with the cooler-like spout on the bottom. Much more convenient than the tap and a round ball of beer that needs a stand (at least the tap was included with the ball). Favored by Germans. I seem to remember owning a beer ball tap...
and didn't the beer ball come in a box, which you filled with ice, therefore negating the need for a stand, or for a seperate container to keep the beer cold?
