Beer Ball vs. Pony Keg

I am a bigger fan of the pony keg concept. It goes by different names but I am talking about the gallon size beer can with the cooler-like spout on the bottom. Much more convenient than the tap and a round ball of beer that needs a stand (at least the tap was included with the ball). Favored by Germans. Come to think of it, they may just think it's a normal can of beer.

Just my thought of the day.
Much to be said for those. We enjoyed many of the larger kirin cans in college (with it's own clip on handle!!!).

But I think a pony keg in the industry nomenclature is the half-keg size (7.5 gallons or so), which is really a quarter barrel of beer (and the full keg is a half-barrel). Someone from Wisconsin?
