I meant my own words were slop. I'd have to have shit for brains to suggest the Folsom Prison Blues was slop. Its one of the very first rock songs and the best example of the murder ballad" ever written. The song contains zero profanity and almost no violent imagery, yet is angrier than any piece of gangsta rap ever penned. Next to Dylan's "Idiot Wind" it might just be the most venom filled tune in country/folk/rock history.
You'd be made of stone if you didn't get all misty over losing Johnny Cash. He's a Sinatra/Stones level icon.
