I thought this looked familiar, and it's because
The Economist sent me one of those pleading little notes begging me to read their magazine for free. FOR FREE! And they call themselves Economists???
Now there are some weeks when I work my way through
Harpers, The New Yorker, The Nation and
Muhammed Speaks all at the same time and really need reading material, so I checked the box and send the little card back. Got the first couple of issues already. But they will never see a dime from me. Not one. Thin. Dime.
