Hm. I can't recall Ty saying this, but I know that I have certainly said that there is a difference between what happens in the heat of battle and what happens at a prison. Doesn't mean to me that it's not torture if Sgt. Rock does it, but that the context provides some excuse or mitigation.
Let's assume that someone killed your father, and you killed that guy in turn. It can be considered excused as self defense, or you can be arrested for manslaughter, or first degree murder, depending upon when and where you do it, but it's still homicide.

People can't pay me for research either, but when I tell a judge at a hearing that a witness said "X" in her deposition, and opposing counsel says "she never said that," I damn well better be able to provide a page and line number.
But, since this isn't court, perhaps I should just make shit up, and when called on it, cry that I don't do free research for people?

Ooooh, the veiled insults again! The real question, since you brought Ty up in bashing Gatti, is why
you are so concerned with what Ty says.
And I will point out that you still haven't really responded to the substance of Gatti's post. It's cool -- after all, as Rudy points out later in the transcript, he never would have broken the Mob without "aggressive questioning."
eta: Whoops. Broken, not broke. And you can have the last word, Hank.
