The radicals who give us trouble are Sunnis, not Shiites, except for Hezbollah, which gives Israel more trouble than it gives us. The bigger problem with an Iraq run by Shiites is that it would lean toward Iran, not bin Laden.
Apparently you plan an indefinite military occupation. That should work well.
