And they were being paid to play catch and not endanger their team's playoff chances by slicing their incredibly high-paid hands open on somebody's face over a stupid taunt. Who gives a shit who made it? A hundred fans screaming epithets were maybe two feet farther away from these guys than the groundskeeper; that's the distance it takes to turn a man into a squalling flailing two-year-old?
