Toughskins were also worn by a young Not Bobby. My mother used put the iron-on knee patches on the Toughskin jeans immediately after purchase. After all, the combination of Big Wheels, asphalt, and the popularity of Demolition Derby amongst the youth of Podunkville's Millard Fillmore Elementary School was hard on the knees of pants.
