A sad day
WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 — After years of emotional debate, the Senate voted 64-34 Tuesday to send President Bush legislation to ban what critics call partial birth abortion, the most significant restriction since the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion three decades ago. Abortion rights groups promised to challenge the law in court as soon as Bush signed it.
Sigh, no comment.
