Probably not, if they had an eraser attached by a metal band. Don't get me going on bad erasers.

#2 Dixon-Ticonderoga. School standard for years. There may have been some others, but these were standard issue.
Some of the erasers broke off. But we also got those standard pink ones, and plenty of the eraser wigs.
