Been there--HK-- a couple of times. It's worth it for a few days, probably not more. It's one of Asia's air hubs, so it's easy to get other places. If you want to bang around asia, look into Cathay Pacific's All-Asia pass (I think that's the name). It's like $799 on the internet in the winter, and it's essentially unlimited flights around asia for some period (2-3 weeks maybe), as well as the flight there (which would run as much by itself). You may pay extra for some destinations, like Sydney, b/c they're further away.
