Yep. Another example of the FB being on the cutting edge of current events...

We discussed it after the Cubs lost after Kerry Wood was on SI and after the Dany Heatley crash (cover of EA Sports NHL 2004).

Edited to add: Weak story, doesn't even point out other sports like baseball (Randy Johnson) or hockey, and totally glosses over the Chunky Soup Jinx, which may be the worst of all.
