I found that talking about the 23 year old hottie that I just met and was really interested in helped considerably in moving on to the "we're no more than fuck-buddies, and I'd drop you like a hot rock if the 23 year old shows any indication of interest" conversation. It opened things up for him to talk about the hottie he'd had his eye on for awhile.
