Weren't most of those things in both of them? I remember all these recurring images flashed on the screen during the panic sequences or the dreams or whatever they were (it's been a while) and I thought that they were pretty similar.
Maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me because the plot, at least, is pretty close to identical.
