Coldplay is a bad Radiohead cover band.
Wilco? "Summer Teeth" sucked. I don't care that their last CD was shunned by their label - and now Tweedy is an
artiste
and has a fucking attitude problem. But what do I know - I preferred the Son Volt/Jay Farrar side of Uncle Tupelo.
The White Stripes/Strokes are the Liz Phair/Urge Overkill of these 15 minutes. Stripes peaked on "White Blood Cells" as is evident by this barely mediocre "Elephant" and the Strokes are already falling apart [according to NY tabloids]
Flaming Lips - I totally dig their schtick and appreciate their appeal but they just don't do it for me. I heard their show with Beck was the balls.
Let me add this:
the Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's - no no god fucking no
the Music - remind me not to buy a CD on a Rolling Stone rec
the Raveonettes - no idea, but I'm guessing from all the positive press that they suck.
