Not to sound like a bitter NY Rangers fan -
but as a bitter NY Rangers [season ticket holder], I don't mind seeing the OTHER, OVERPRICED, ALL-STAR TEAM get knocked out in Four. But for Stevie Y - one of the classiest, most underrated and best players in the League. I hope he doesn't retire.
And I stand by the Rangers decision to sign Richter over CuJo - even though he got hurt and didn't play this season. In this day and age, you don't get many sports heroes that play their whole career with one team. In local baseball - we had Donnie Baseball. Hopefully, the Yanks will do the same with Bernie. And like Richter, I hope we have the class to the same with Leetch.
I will be proud when they retire #35 - the greatest goalie in Rangers history - next year.
Right now - I'm rooting for the Leafs, Canucks and Ducks.
