Buy the sheets. You will spend one third of your life sleeping/whatever on them for as long as they last so they're a reasonable investment. Unless they're cheap because they're really mislabeled substandard crap that fell off a truck in Uzbekistan.
Don't buy the DVDs. Even the obscure horror schlock ends up on cable eventually in one of those gross Halloween-night marathons.
