OOohh. That had to hurt...
For my 30'th (uh... I mean, uh.. 25th...) birthday, my husband bought me (wait for it), a PLANT. Yup. A plant.
And on another birthday (not a "biggie" ending in a "0"), he got me nothing, but bought HIMSELF a watch.
Obviously, I forgave him -- sort of. I now buy my own presents from him -- and they're a lot more expensive than anything he would have thought of himself. You should see the lovely ring he bought me last year for our anniversary (and not even a "biggie" anniversary!) I tell you, he's a peach!
