Regifting

The blasted tip towels are another thing altogether. I might have to sneak one or two into the gift I'm bringing for our book club exchange, just to get rid of them. Maybe I'll give them to Goodwill to sell.
I've given away thousands of dollars of useless crystal people gave me at my wedding. Here's a tip... If you get crystal from a young guest at your wedding, you're being regifted. Only old fucks with no sense give crystal anymore. Its useless shit. I feel like I live in Superman's ice palace half the time because my goddamn place is filled with piles of the shit. I never use the stuff because my wife tells me I can wash it in the dishwasher, and frankly, what difference does it make whether I drink my booze out of a crystal glass or a glass glass? Same thing goes for silverware and china. Does the food taste better when eaten of a plate covered in fleur de lis? These shit wedding gifts are throwbacks to the days when people rode horses to work and dressed in white tie for dinner every evening.
