I think the fact that Trey has been touring with Dave says something about Dave's musical talent. At least I hope it does. I've had musician friends tell me Trey is one of the best guitarists they've ever heard. Both technically and creatively.

Phish is kind of like Rush. You know they can play, but they can't write or sing for shit.
Musicians also like Primus, and while Les Claypool may be talented, what he creates is unlistenable to the layman.
