Au contraire, my churlish friend. You whine about the effete, but you are really just envious of the manners of the well-bred. You complain about yuppies, yet aspire yourself to be a well off urban professional. And you rail against snobbery, but since when is having discriminating taste a crime? I would also take issue with your equating the newly-monied trash that Sebastian describes with what you call effete East Coast yuppie snobs, but my main point here is that your hatred (or more accurately, your condoning of the hatred of others) is misplaced here. Do not hate that which you desire but cannot achieve.
