Jesus, you are pathetic. Let me guess -- you went to law school because Mommy and Daddy insisted that you get a professional degree and you didn't want to be a doctor; you're a very smart guy but only a mediocre lawyer because you don't like it and don't want to put the work in to be really good; you had fantasies of a creative life (I'm guessing musician, or maybe short story writer) but never wanted to spend your evenings working on the craft that required and didn't have the raw genius to succeed without working on the craft; and you can't stand the lingering feeling that you've sold out even though you like the stuff that selling out has bought you.
Stop whining about it. Accept who you are and enjoy it, or go be something else. If you hate being a lawyer, or hate yourself because you're a lawyer, then do something else -- it's not that hard to save enough cash that you can quit and move on. Stop telling everyone else how they should live or raise their children, and put that energy into your own life.
