Well, if you're at home with the kid all day, it may be tiring, but it ain't work work. So, yeah. I'll take a break when I get home. Because when my break is over, I'm doing as much, if not more work at home than YOU. Because now you need a break (and they seem to last much longer than mine).
Ah. "Most men," hunh? Other people can't say "most women," when posting on this topic that got you all hot and bothered, but "most men" is perfectly acceptable? I would trade in a second if my wife could pull in the cash I'm pulling in. I bet a bunch of other men would too. I love spending time with my daughter.

Come on, TM, being at home with the kids really isn't heavy lifting the way posting on this board all day is?
Sad thing is, if you're looking to take a break and ignore the kids when you get home, it's going to show in the relationship between you and the kids. The part of life that women get more of than men that I miss most is that close relationship with the kids - they usually get to put more into that relationship, and so they usually get more out.
(BTW, catch-up today was a bit much - some of you need abridged versions of your posts; and if this new sock is welcome here, maybe it's time to invite back Petunia and Co.)
