Good on ya, I say. I would be the last to opine about the correctness or incorrectness of how anyone chooses to structure their homelife -- none of my bees wax.
What I was railing against yesterday, and what really irks me is the attitude that people have against SAHMs or women who don't work for whatever reason. It just pisses me off how judgmental people are about others' life choices and how quickly women who don't work outside the home are labeled "hangers on" or "hos" or what have you.
When a wife doesn't work outside the home, whether there are children or not, it most probably is the result of a joint decision between the spouses. The man who married the woman who doesn't work knows going into the marriage what the plan is (presumably) and is on board with it; if not, he probably wouldn't have married her.
Surely there are cases where the working husband wants his wife to work and she flat-out refuses, but I would guess those are the exception and not the rule.
It's just so base how BRC & Co. are so quick to call a wife who stays at home a "ho-bitch" or whatever. Mind your own fucking business.
