We've been to 38th and Chicago, where Mr. Floyd was killed, which has turned into a memorial, but not attended protests. There, nearly everyone is wearing masks and it's mostly standing around, so you can at least tell yourself you're staying away from people.
Of course, my MIL, one of the people with underlying conditions we're trying to keep alive, can't help herself to get close talking to one of the AP photographers who look a picture of the kid leaving a flower.
