Your name in English sounds like Fuck Boy. If I lived in Vietnam and my name in your language sounded like Eat a Dick I would change it ....
He was put on administrative leave, and she asked for an apology.
The next day, he apologized on Twitter for his insensitive actions.
Questions for you:
- Do you agree with Prof. Hubbard that he was insensitive?
- Do you think that Prof. Hubbard is a iconoclastic thinker with unpopular ideas that really ought to be part of the ongoing debate?
- Do you think that Prof. Hubbard is good at his job?
- Did he "face cancellation"? If so, how?
- Do you have any reason to think that Laney College's reaction (putting him on administrative leave) was prompted by anything any other than what Prof. Hubbard said to Phuc Bui?
