No one knows. It’s clearly a loose model. But around these parts, people joke about having been sick and testing negative, or being surprised at not having been sick and testing positive for antibodies.
The mentality is, if you feel like shit for a bit, avoid people for 10-14 days. If you feel terribly bad, see a doc. Tests are annoying and slow, so most are just doing the NY thing of avoiding if they suspect illness.
ETA: Eastern side of this state is awash in it. NY folks have been flooding into here. Hospitals are doing fine. Schools are entirely remote. God bless Philly proper’s densest areas, but the rest of the state seems to be handling it well.
