I'm thinking that if the election is about the pandemic, Trump loses, because 70% of the country thinks he has fucked things up. Biden ought to be running ads targeting to midwestern states with pictures of empty stadia and a voiceover saying, e.g., "Michigan State would be playing Purdue this Saturday if Trump hadn't botched the pandemic. If you're a fan of Big-10 football, vote for Joe Biden."

Thanks for the patronization, but Big Ten football fans blame the Big Ten for pulling the rug when the SEC is going forward, hell this weekend ESPN was full of High School football being played in front of live (for now at least) fans.
