I'm sorry if I somehow gave you the impression that I tacitly admit or agree with anything in any of your lines. I was trying to suggest that I expressly thought your entire post was wrong, that the big idea behind it was misconceived, and that in general what you said was just entirely wrong.

The concept of "cancel culture" is a perverted, unfortunate mess, but fortunately you don't need it to say that what DeSantis is doing is wrong. You described it as full-on censorship. No one here disagrees. No one here supports that kind of censorship. The big, stupid idea in your post is your attempt to tie that kind of censorship to Yglesias getting a Substack, and your "I told you so" that if only more people had shouted down that transsexual journalist at Vox, the Governor of Florida wouldn't be trying his hand at full-on censorship.
