When I got mine at the Javits they had a table set up for MTA employees. I went over and explained that dad was in FL and asked whether as an MTA retiree could he come to Javits for a shot. They mentioned that flying up, getting a shot of JNJ, and flying back, was pretty standard practice among MTA retirees who had retired in FL. My dad was able to get one sooner, Moderna, though at a Fed-set up center.
