Does a band ever sound good on SNL? Thanks to Shape Shifter, I saw a little of the show this weekend, including a number by Pink that sounded whatever, tho' that could be Pink (sorry, Slave). I haven't watched it since the last millenium, but it seems to me a setting designed for mediocre performances. It's like saying the drunken sex wasn't good (sorry, Sebby, but it just seems that way because you're drunk).
