I think it would be more wasted because of the "fuck CA, they all vote Dem anyway, notwithstanding Arnie" thing. It would be interesting if Arnie would take up this cause, even if only in passing, to see what other support it garnered.

I wasn't being clear (gasp!) - my impression was the industry is trashing, or even trashed. I know people looking to dump their grapes on whomever might give them something for them, and who are desperately seeking other land uses. Sorry.
