Mine was just the headache. We were super careful at that stage, to the point my husband took a two week sabbatical from work to stay away from the public right as Omicron was starting up. Given how contagious it was, we could have picked it up, but it would have been an extremely mild case.
My whole family was isolating in the country together for nearly two years when my brother brought it to them in mid-January. Everyone but one of my sisters tested positive.
For the bulk of them, it was a cold with fever. The two year old got cuddly and happy that she could eat as much ice cream as she wanted. The 82 year old--the one for whom everyone had been super careful--was the LAST to test positive, with almost no symptoms. Just allergies if he hadn't known better.
My parents came back to Houston to ride it out, just in case they needed hospital care, but they were fine.
I guess by now the 90 days of additional immunity from having had it are more or less expired. If I had it, baby Kanan would have gotten immunity from my booster in August and then maybe the disease in January.
