I know him quite well, or did in law school, and have watched his antics for many years. A good friend and I have been speculating for months about whether he is going to get convicted. I would have said no, based more about my skepticism that someone acting like a lawyer would get held accountable, but as more emails come out, the odds are moving.
My question here is, should we believe that Ginni Thomas was telling him about the Justices' deliberations, or should we think that he was puffing up his access and knowledge. I'm leaning towards the latter, which in no way is an attempt to defend him.
eta: My thought that he was bullshitting is based on knowing him. This person
came to the same place for different reasons.
eta: Fun fact: He and Liz Cheney went to law school together. She was a year behind him. He and Ted Cruz clerked together for Luttig.
