YMMV, but doing a full 50-60 minutes on rowing machine feels like most effective workout. Put Bill Maher or Fareed Zakaria on, hit "cardio high" about 25 minutes in, after which one feels no pain, then go thru end of show. Feel wrecked afterward, but in the best way.

None of those exercises ever did shit for me. The only ones that work are (1) running and (2) stairs or stairmaster.
